Welcome Back

Well another season under way and already the groans have started...

It's not the two refs,  nor is it any particular team,, It is the darn rules

How easy do they want it to score a try. The no separation rule is fine but what happens if a player losses the ball in midfield play but there is no separation from the body and he lands n the ball????KNOCK ON!!! So why can they do it over the try line. One rule or the other I say

The other rule is this absolutely pathetic protect the kicker rule.. Now I don't want anyone to get me wrong I think some protection is a good thing, but there has to be some modifications made. Mainly I think that as soon as a kicker heads towards the line they are open target. Otherwise all we will see is kickers staying up closer to the line and no-one game enough to go near them..

I would really love to hear what others think about this  so let us know by posting a reply

Hi everyone I am back again.... Well this time I am registered for Movemebr and would love everyone to watch me grow my fuzzy lip caterpillar and raise money for a worthy cause..

So check it out and watch my mo grow....

at the start

In case anyone isn't sure what it is here  is some info and a link to check out the home page....

Hi All,

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'm growing a Mo. That's right I'm bringing the Mo back because I'm passionate about tackling men's health issues and being proactive in the fight against men's depression and prostate cancer.

To donate to my Mo you can either:

  1. Click this link https://www.movember.com/au/donate/donate-details.php?action=sponsorlink®o=1476426&country=au and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account, or
  2. Write a cheque payable to ‘Movember Foundation', referencing my Registration Number 1476426 and mailing it to:

                                            Movember Foundation
                                            PO Box 292
                                            Prahran VIC 3181

Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

The money raised by Movember is used to raise awareness of men's health issues and donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue - the national depression initiative. The PCFA and beyondblue will use the funds to fund research and increase support networks for those men who suffer from prostate cancer and depression.

Did you know:

  • Depression affects 1 in 6 men....most don't seek help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide.
  • Last year in Australia 18,700 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 2,900 died of prostate cancer - equivalent to the number of women who will die from breast cancer annually.

For those that have supported Movember in previous years you can be very proud of the impact it has had and can check out the details at: [ Fundraising Outcomes ].

Movember culminates at the end of month Gala Partés. If you would like to be part of this great night you'll need to purchase a [ Gala Parté Ticket ].

Thanks for your support PETER.

More information is available at http://www.movember.com/.

Movember is proudly grown by Holden and Schick.

Movember is proud partners with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue - the national depression initiative.

Friday Night Rant

Well I said I wasn't going to do it but how can you not criticise the referees. Anyone who saw the Broncos Roosters match had to be blind freddy to not see that this game was decided by the referees and not by the ball playing. A blatantly stupid obstruction ruling to rip the roosters off 4 or possibly 6 points. A ridiculus head high call on anasta to let the broncos off early in the second half. Then a suspect try to the broncos as well to top it off. To see one team get ripped off with bad calls that the other team are getting away with is just ripping us fans off and something needs to be done. Isn't there supposed to be a referees judiciary this year? Maybe they should be doing there job.

One bright spot and a massive hats off has to be Phill Gould. It's about time one of these comentators finally got the courage up to say what we are all thinking. The line after the obstruction ruling That is a stupid call and he needs to be sacked and never invited back again In regards to video referee Steve Clark is spot on. He is a regular component of close calls going in the favour of the Broncos and he needs to be removed.

As for the other game!! What a turn around by the Bulldogs. So weak in the second half last week so strong this. Amazing form reversal. Three chears for a great coaching effort... Rabbitohs on the other hand, poor coaching and bad interchanges have caused them a loss. Lets hope they get it better in the future.

Thats it for tonight so thanks for your time and see you tomorrow.

Dont forget to check out the fantasy footy challenge Just Go Here and sign up for my league and test your knowledge against me.... It won't be to hard..
